FAQ
View AllThe TLS series pairs a PLC controller with an intelligent PID module, achieving ±0.1℃ control accuracy and 0.01℃ display resolution over a 5–85℃ range. A 7-inch colour touchscreen displays and logs temperature curves and test data as standard.
Four parameters drive selection: the temperature range your process needs; the actual heat load (cooling capacity); the required circulation flow and head; and the condensing method (air or water) together with site power. Catalogue capacities assume 20℃ cooling-water inlet and 20℃ ambient for air-cooled units — allow a 10–20% margin in practice. Send us your process conditions and our engineers will size it with you.
Air-cooled units need clear intake and discharge space to prevent hot-air recirculation. For water-cooled units the cooling-water inlet must stay between 5℃ and 33℃ (30℃ for low-temperature models) at 2–4.5 bar. Insulate pipework to avoid condensation. Provide the rated supply with proper earthing, and confirm phase sequence on three-phase units.
The unit shows its status in real time and diagnoses faults automatically. The touchscreen names the specific alarm — high or low refrigerant pressure, pump overload, compressor overload, sensor fault and so on. Record the code and site conditions, rule out external causes (water cut-off, blocked airflow, supply voltage) and reset. If the alarm repeats, contact our engineers.
Monthly: check and clean the condenser fins. Quarterly: check heat-transfer fluid level and condition, inspect pipework for leaks and listen to the pump. Annually: a full inspection covering refrigerant pressure, electrical terminal tightness and sensor calibration. On low-temperature units, keep the expansion tank level between 1/4 and 2/3 of the sight glass as the manual specifies.
