Overview
The PTLQ gas chiller cools process gas and can also heat or hold it at a set point. The gas is typically dry compressed air or an inert gas such as nitrogen or argon; the inlet may be at ambient or elevated temperature and is brought down to the target. For wafer-test thermal chucks it offers clear advantages over conventional liquid cooling: easier handling, better hygiene and safety, lower cost and no odour. An optional IoT module allows data, alarms and remote operation from a mobile app.

Model Designation
- 1. Product series code
- 2. Temperature code (minimum gas outlet temperature): A -10℃, B -25℃, C -40℃, D -60℃, F -80℃, H -100℃, J -120℃, L -150℃
- 3. Capacity code: cooling capacity at 5℃ above the minimum temperature, e.g. 0.5 kW at -55℃
- 4. Maximum gas throughput
- 5. Heating: built-in gas heater delivering outlet temperatures up to 200℃
- 6. Condensing: W for water-cooled; air-cooled is not marked
- 7. Non-standard code: see the non-standard code rules; omitted if not required
